Benedictine sponsors a very balanced and diverse athletic program which allows a wide range of students the opportunity to participate in interscholastic sports. Benedictine's program is well respected both locally and statewide.  

 Athletic offerings at Benedictine:

Benedictine’s tree lined athletic facility on the Goochland Campus at Mary Mother of the Church Abbey houses state of the art athletic fields. The Cadets play baseball, soccer, track, football, lacrosse, tennis and wrestling at this location. Basketball is still played at Benedictine Memorial Gym, home of Rut Court, at the Sheppard Street location in the heart of the city.

Two of our fields are named after generous graduates. Bobby Ross Football Stadium is named after Coach Ross ’55 , former NFL and NCAA football coach. The Hyman Baseball Field is named after Haywood “Huddy” Hyman Jr.’70 owner of Saturn of Richmond and Land Rover of Richmond.
